Hence, i caught the 'knitting garments' BUG, those clothes in my dreadful wardrobe are either simply not warm enough or phase out.. What was i thinking with that odd ball polar fleece jacket??

But alas, i was left without phone & internet connection for almost 2 weeks due to the storms. Now that i am back, i really have to show you guys the completion of the swing cardi as mentioned in my previous posts.

buttery scarf

Sometimes, i love to multitask my knitting projects. It is one of the best words in the English language because with all the yarn i bought recently, it is enticing me to do something with them, furthermore, it leads to another reason to buy more !! I have even receive a wool voucher from Jen to further propel me into the depths of woolly madness.
white on white ?
Another addition to the scarf family, after blocking ( which lasted for 2 days on the ironing board with metal pins stuck all over it to loosen all stitches) it stretches out to over 2 metres long, enough to go around my neck twice for added warmth & style.

Product: Buttery Scarf
Pattern source : creative knitting aus copied from here
Yarn: Debbie Bliss Cashmerino dk~ 2.5 balls
Needles: Ivore size 6.00 mm
Time taken: 1 week

now i can move on to other projects

sunday night savers

Homemade Chocolate mousse topped with raspberry icecream with a myriad of berries.
Hopefully this will help me ward of Mondayitis.
I have been suffering an intermitten headache for the past 24 hours. Going to throw a huge tantrum, stamp my feet on the ground & not go to work tomorrow.

japanese dinner on lazy tue

look! I cooked Japanese tonight.
The chicken dish was inspired by what jen did. Deep fried chicken breast cubes with salt & pepper sprinkled with sesame seed. The rice was tossed hot with seaweed seasoning topped with good old sunny-sided eggs.

Of course, the meal was served with tofu miso soup ...
Any meal cooked in 30 mins is always great for a tired week night:)

Sunday brunch at home

On a typical weekend, this is what i will eat. Dumplings with alot of chillies, plus, before i can fully wake up, a cup of hot milk tea. Don't ask why, the caffeine in tea works better for me than coffee.
